Can we separate Biblical truth from the truth of life?

Can We Separate Biblical Truth from the Truth of Life?

I began to reflect when I heard a question: “There is only one Bible—why there are so many Churches?” What’s the difference? Men and women,—Christian or claiming to be—use the name of God or used by God as they claimed it, making it appear sacred what they had selfishly or doing real selfless actions for the sake of goodness. These contribute to why we have so many Churches believing in one Bible. The question can be offensive and stupid to those who believe that truth of life is not limited to the Bible. Only the man with eyes covered by the literal Bible can see the question above as right.

History must be counted to understand the truth of man. If a man did some foul thing, someone will respond with equal opposite reactions. The Civil War was true, George Washington was true; Philippine Encomendero and friar abuse were true, Filipino patriotic reactions were true as well. Yes, the Bible didn’t say so, but it doesn’t mean it was not true. Some Church leaders are guilty of teaching that the only source of truth is the Bible (which is not the intention of it, but can be used to rebuke the other side of truth). No, human truth is also recorded in the history book. Their experience, exercise, hardship, and cries for life are their truth. Imperialism is true—and so is the nationalism.

Truth in humanity is not limited with our religious and spiritual truth, but truth is truth of total man (with heart, mind, spirit and strength). Yes, one Christian group is separated from another because of political, social, and moral issues seen after the inability to submit to the wisdom of Christ. As a matter of fact, is separated from Christ except from the name “Christian.” No human can pretend that history is nothing—except the bad guys in history. No human is immune to the created darkness—unless you learn to act like a beast. Jesus as the light must be lifted up for this darkness.

Human experience and history determines which Church is detaching the Light (of life, Jesus) from the sustained darkness by greedy spirits. God’s designed nature is displayed by those who seek for justice, love, and righteousness. The Bible is not Words directing the minds to heaven and spirits away from the facts of darkness making the ruler of the world successful. The Bible should bring God to earth not that it brings mind/focus to heaven. If we know the truth of actions and human reactions, the struggle of nations and race against evils, then the question above is nothing. The idea that truth is found only in the Bible is myth. Human experience is the measure of Biblical importance. Evil action ruins, but love sustains life. The truth is in history too. The Bible’s claim should be affirmed by it. Indeed, you cannot separate Bible truth from the truth of life. Only the offenders of God’s purpose will want to separate them, if not deny them or use them for selfish assertion.

Many ‘guilty’ pastors makes people think that Christianity’s Gospel is irrelevant—or that Jesus has nothing to do with our life here and now (denying His claim as the light of the world). But what is put in action that violates people’s right to exist is dictated by his belief, philosophy, or reasons in the heart, mind, spirit, and strength in which Jesus said to be filled with our love for God. He said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, spirit and strength.” This is not something that commanded us to separate ourselves from the talk of life in this world, but it should affect the world. The Bible is the book of truth about the wisdom of God for life, while history book is for facts of events that make us see that darkness is built if Word for life is not.
